Intake Session
$175 / 90 minutes
The intake psychotherapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a supportive therapeutic relationship. During this initial session, we will discuss your current concerns, personal history, emotional well-being, and goals for therapy. This process helps create a better understanding of your unique experiences and allows us to collaboratively develop a treatment approach that best supports your needs and healing journey.
Ongoing Session
$150 / 50 minutes
Ongoing psychotherapy sessions provide a supportive and collaborative space to continue exploring thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences in greater depth. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs and focus on building insight, developing healthier coping strategies, improving emotional regulation, and supporting personal growth and healing at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Cancelation / No Show Policy
If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations made with less than 48-hour notice, as well as missed appointments or no-shows, will be charged the full session fee. A valid card on file is required at the start of services for billing purposes.
Consistent attendance is an important part of the therapeutic process. EXCESSIVE cancellations or no-shows (3 or more) may result in termination of services.
Additionally, if you do not schedule or attend an appointment for THREE consecutive weeks, and no prior arrangements have been made, the professional relationship may be considered discontinued for legal and ethical reasons.
Payment
Payment is due at the time services are rendered and will be processed at the beginning of the day of your scheduled session. Accepted forms of payment include all major credit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards.
Sliding Scale
Sliding scale fees are based on household income. I reserve a few spots on my caseload for sliding fee clients. I will work with you in order to identify a financial agreement that is sustainable. If you do not believe you can afford my full fee, please contact me so we discuss the options. If I am not able to accommodate your needs I would be happy to refer you to trustworthy therapists in the area.
Good Faith Estimate
Beginning January 1, 2022, federal law requires health care providers to provide a Good Faith Estimate of expected health care charges to clients who are uninsured or choosing not to use insurance benefits for services.
You have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your care before receiving non-emergency services. This estimate may include the anticipated cost of psychotherapy sessions and any related services provided over the course of treatment.
A Good Faith Estimate will be provided within the required timeframes established by law. For appointments scheduled at least three days in advance, the estimate will typically be provided no later than one business day after scheduling. Please note that the estimate is not a contract and actual charges may vary depending on your treatment needs and circumstances. If there are significant changes to your expected services or fees, an updated estimate will be provided.
Clients have the right to dispute a bill if the final charges are at least $400 higher than the amount listed on the Good Faith Estimate. It is recommended that you keep a copy of your estimate for your records.
Please note that a Good Faith Estimate is not a recommendation for treatment or the number of sessions needed. Its purpose is to help protect clients from unexpected medical costs and promote transparency regarding fees for services.
